American Flag Cocktail (Red, White, and Blue)
Ingredients
Instructions
-
Create the Red Layer: In a tall glass filled with ice, pour the Sangrita Viuda de Sanchez.
-
Carefully Add the White Layer: Using a bar spoon (or the back of a regular spoon), slowly pour the white Rum down the back of the spoon, allowing it to settle in the middle layer above the red Sangrita, add the mineral water.
-
Top with Blue Curaçao : Pour the Blue Curaçao directly into the glass. The blue Curaçao, being less dense than the other layers, should naturally rise to the top, creating the final blue layer.
Garnish: Decorate with mint leaves.
Note
- To achieve a sharper separation between the layers, try chilling all the ingredients before layering them.
- Adjust the amount of Sangrita to your taste preference.
- You can add a squeeze of fresh lime juice for a touch of tartness, but this is optional.
