Sangrichela

Ingredients
  • 1 bottle (12oz) light Mexican beer (Chill the beer beforehand for best results.)
  • 4 oz Sangrita Viuda de Sanchez
  • 3 -4 sliced grape tomatoes
  • Coarse salt, to taste
  • Lime wedge, for garnish
Instructions
  1. Season the rim (optional): If desired, moisten the rim of the glass with a lime wedge and dip it in salt.
  2. Muddle the tomatoes: drop and muddle the sliced grape tomatoes with the back of a spoon or a muddler.
  3. Add Sangrita: Pour the Sangrita Viuda de Sanchez directly into the glass over the muddled tomatoes.
  4. Add Ice and Beer: Fill the glass with ice cubes and then gently pour the chilled beer over the ice.Tip: Pour the beer down the back of a spoon to help minimize mixing with the Sangrita layer.

    Garnish and Enjoy: Garnish the drink with a lime wedge and enjoy!
